Introduction
Walls are, very simply put, walls. They are big tanks meant to take the hits and rarely deal out much damage. Just like sweepers, there are different types. In this lesson I will give sets for 3 different walls, special, physical, and mixed.
Forretress
Team Building Lesson #2 Walls Artwork-foretress
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Relaxed
Item: Leftovers
EV's: 254 Hp/ 254 Def/ 6 SpD
IV's: Spe 0
Moveset: Toxic Spikes
Spikes
Rapid spin
Gyro Ball

This is a fun one. You generally want to lead with this set, due to the entry hazards he carries. You need to remember that Toxic spikes can be stacked twice and spikes can be stacked 3 times to optimize the damage from them. Rapid stin, for those noobies out there, is a very weak normal move, but it will clear all entry hazards your enemy has placed. And finally I would like to address the IV's. On the right side of the pokemon customization screen you will see a spot labeled IV's, and for all the stats they will have a 31 next to it. You can't raise them but you can lower them, all the way down to 0. Normally you don't want to touch this, but this is a special case. The slower the foretress the better. Gyro ball's power is based on how slow the pokemon is, the slower the stronger, and with his speed lowered so much it will have a really nice power to it.

Shuck This
Team Building Lesson #2 Walls Shuckle
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Careful
Item: Leftovers
EV's: 254 Hp/ 6 Def/ 254 SpD
Moveset: Stealth rock
Toxic
Encore
Rest

Ok, this is one of my favorite pokemon ever. he doesn't have any obvious weaknesses (Steel, Fighting) and can take so many hits it's not even funny. This is another leading set, using the stealth rock to set up an entry hazard. Toxic to weaken any other walls, cripple sweepers, and generally do nice damage to the whole team. Encore (Once again for noobies) Cause your opponent's pokemon to repeat the last move they used for 3 turns. If you can lock a pokemon into a stealth rock, it will be wasted for 3 turns. And finally rest, put yourself to sleep for a few turns to get your health back. Keep this annoying little ball of joy kicking for the rest of you life.

Blissey (Pink is for real men)
Team Building Lesson #2 Walls Blissey
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Calm
Item: Leftovers
Moveset: Wish
Softboiled
Seismic Toss
Toxic/Thunde Wave

Awww, what a cute pokemon. I wanna huuuuug it. This pink beast has always been my #1 recommendation to anyone looking for a new wall. She has insane hp stats, and adding in the full Def and SpD makes it so had to kill. As if that wasn't enough, she's a support! Wish is one of the best support moves in the game. When used, a turn later (As long as Blissey is still conscious) whatever pokemon is out will gain half of Blissey's total hp. I think I remember Blissey have a base hp of 652, making it a 326 burst of hp to whoever is o the field when it pops. Softboiled is the staple of Blisseys and Chanseys. Gain back half you total hp. Seismic toss gives her a nice source of damage, dealing 100 damage to you opponent's pokemon every time you use it. I've already explained toxic, but the other option for Blissey here is Thunder Wave, which is absolutely devestaing to sweepers. A. it slows them down to much that they won't be able to sweep. B. they will be stopped by paralysis every once in a while, freeing you up for a turn.

There you go. 3 examples of walls that are all very nice. Just like the Sweepers, you need to know when to switch into them, and remember, they do have limits, try not to push them.
